MERTYRİG-1 WERE DELIVERED
Brand new Turkish made by Petromak, 1100 HP and 3000 meters drilling and 3750 meters well completion service capacity MertyRig-1 (PM- 2500 ) mobil drilling rig was delivered to Merty Enerji on April 12 th, 2009 in Konya Industrial Section.
The Minister of Energy and Natural Sources Dr. Hilmi Güler honored the delivery ceremony. During his speech Dr. Hilmi Güler emphasized the importance of manufacturing the rig by using local capabilities and engineering services. Dr.Güler also congratulated and thanked Merty Energy for its order to built-up the rig that leaded Petromak to built a rig as a first version in the country.
The first duty of the rig will be the production tests of Sarıkız-2 later drill development wells.

DISCOVERY in ALASEHIR BASIN/TURKEY
Sarkız-2 well, Drilled in Alaşehir basin of Western Turkey, was started to drill at 31st of October and finished at 13th of December in 2008 with a 1843m TD,ended up with the discovery of 34API oil.Click here for information
2D COAL SEISMIC
The identification of coal lodes by drilling takes so long time and also it costs very high. Because of this before the exploration drillings, it has to be interpretated the geological and geophysical datas for determining the TD’s and location of wells, minimize the exploration time and orientate the study.Click here for information
